| Howard Johnson on East Main Street in Middletown (Newport Rhode Island) was a great bargain. Less than 2 miles from the wharfs - close to all. Clean,friendly and easy access from highways. I would definately stay again.

| A very short drive to Newport. Clean. Had a Fridge and microwave and some gratis goodies in the room.

| The staff went out of its way to be helpful. The hotel was convenient in its location and also had amneties for me and my children. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were wonderful. Having the restaurant built onto the hotel was very convenient; especially while they offered a continental breakfast for hotel guests. The rooms were very clean and fairly spacious with balconies.
