We were delighted with the room at Shanty Creek. It was large and very clean. For the price, in northern MI, during peak season, you couldn't ask for a better room. The outdoor pool is huge and they have an indoor pool in case it's too cold outside. Lovely views too.

I stayed at Shanty Creek for one week in Aug.2005. The resort is beautiful, the staff very pleasant and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our time there very much and will stay again next year. The resort is older and in need of a little TLC (the pools) . But don't let that stop you from staying. The views from Shanty Creek are awsome and I know you'll love it there.
