| Not the quaint hotel, geared towards busloads and Eastern Europeans pinning for the strip club located above the lobby.

| City Hotel Bratislava was a lucky choice for us on a rail journey through Central Europe. The room and appointments were equivalent to a higher priced hotel and the attitude of the service staff was excellent. Perks included an excellent breakfast buffet and free email service. There were good neighborhood restaurants and the historic center was a short tram ride away. Great value!

| Very busy and staff were very helpful. Initially difficult to find as much construction going on and directional signs small and hard to read. Used cab driver to lead me there. Close to public transporation to downtown. Needs routine maintenance. Floor at reception desk very sticky and needed cleaning early Mon. AM. Nice buffet on Sunday AM. Free internet available in lobby. No air-conditioning.

| The management does absolutely all they can to make you forget that this remote hotel is a vestige of the communist era, but they're having a hard time. Specially in winter : warmest welcome but in a chilly-ugly lobby.
