| The location is ideal, close to market square, the Jewish section, and, especially if you are coming by train, easy walk to the train station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good; the room was extremely clean. Facilities are not quite up to American standards. But all in all great hotel, and tremendous bargain.

| Walk to old town, Kazmierz in a few minutes, across from park dividing these parts. Relatively recently re-done, though there are already hallway carpet stains and the rooms are tight (only distractions.) Great brunch-style breakfast is included. Staff very helpful and multi-lingual. No hair dryers and shower only.

| The Hotel Monopol is located only two blocks from the Old Town Square where all of the restaurants and shopping are. The staff were very friendly and spoke english fairly well.
