| I was truly impressed with the value of this hotel! True, the elevator situation takes a little getting used to, but the view of the city is spectacular! Plus, the hotel is within walking distance of lots to do! The parking is probably the most secure in town, the rooms large, clean and comfortable, and the price can't be beat for this part of Chicago. Breakfast is served in a comfortable club room, and is simple but sufficient. Since there are only 21 rooms in the hotel, it is VERY quiet.

| The hotel was everything we expected and more. The view was incredible and the room was clean and spacious. Our only concern was that the staff wasn't as knowledgeable as we would have liked. We assumed their desk staff would have known more about local attractions and services. Would definitely return, however. A unknown gem!

| Next time I visit Chicago, I want to be in the River North area. It is closer to the restaurants. There is a stop for the Loop right at the back of the Buckingham, so it is still easy to get anywhere you need to go from there. There is nothing really bad about this hotel, but it seems better for a business trip.

| Most of the room views are really nice (40th floor). The pool and jacuzzi area are neat. Be ready for a different situation with parking and getting from garage to hotel. Also, problem in that we were told no charge for parking as long as we didn't go in and out, but still had $34 on bill for parking. And no reply from hotel since.

| The only inconvenience was the 2 sets of elevators and a little uncertainty that we were in the right building. If you check in outside of M-F office hours, it appears nothing is open - but once we got to our room - everything was fine. Quiet & clean. We spent 1/2 day at the gym - they have everything and there was no extra fee. Who would have thought that I could practice my golf swing in a high rise building?

| With the 40th floor view of the city, we watched the sun rise over Lake Michigan and wake the city. This hotel is located in the South Loop...within walking distance to all venues in downtown Chicago. Hotel staff was very accommodating.

| This hotel is downtown but is still easy to access right off the highway without fighting traffic. We were close enough to walk everywhere we went. The small hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The views from our room and from the lounge were beautiful! We went to bed looking at the Sears Tower. The fitness center on the third floor was amazing. It has everything you could want for your workout. The staff there is wonderful as well. We weren't sure how much it would cost to park but were pleasantly surprised to find out it was free. That's worth at least $30 a day in downtown Chicago!
