The W is a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the design was pretty cool. My girlfriend loved it. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fancy rather than good, and I got the wrong dry-cleaning back. I would stay at the W again, but I would skip the retsaurant. It was the most expensive bad meal I've ever had.

We really enjoyed our stay. However, the club and conference did attract a party crowd that could be heard through the walls. If you like a nice quiet and well lit hotel this is not for you. If you are looking for a fun modern hotel with awesome service, the W is it.

I hated the oversized furniture in the room which made it feel even smaller and the fact the shower had a sheer glass screen separating it from the room which meant that if I had the blinds open the office block opposite could see me taking a shower. They also played constant techno music in the service areas and there were neon lights everywhere which made it feel dark.

We arrived at 10AM and was worried after our red-eye flight we had to alk about the city until 3PM. They allowed us to check in at 10Am which was wonderful. Good::::excellent service and staff, location good to Old MOntreal, next to Metro, walking 10 minutes to heart of Montreal, excellent restaurant, all staff looked like models and no one appeard over the age of 30, excellent concierge, large rooms, modern and functional decor, let me mention excellent staff/service again. Bad::: adequate gym, no pool, spa always seemed booked. Overall the W Montreal and staff should be an example of what a 4-5 star hotel should be.

Loved my stay at the W Montreal! The hotel is very modern and trendy. The rooms are very comfortable with beds you don't want to get out of and the sexiest see through showers you can can't imagine. Plus the bar is one of the hottest places to be on weekend nights. And the best feature of all, the most helpful and knowledgeable concierge I have every encountered!

What an unusual hotel!!! Ultra modern and gorgeous. The rooms on the 10th floor have a beautiful little balcony that catches the sun and overlooks the park. Great place to have a glass of wine after a long day in the city. The room is a bit small but nice. The other rooms, without the balcony are just as nice but a bit bigger. We requested a king size bed and were moved to the ninth floor the next day. There is a transparent wall between the shower and the bedroom, so be prepared if you tend to be a bit modest. Wonderful hotel, would definitely stay there again. Great location, within walking distance to most things. We spent much of our time in Old Montreal, which was right there.

I am so glad I chose the W Montreal for my first visit to Montreal. The hotel is tres chic, awesome customer service and super attractive staff. Loving the Whenever, Whatever concept. I definitely recommend it to young travelers (in their 20-30's). Hotel is conveniently located a couple blocks from Old Montreal; around the block from a tasty brunch place- Eggs-pectation. Almost everything is walking distance if not its a short cab ride away. Be sure to check out the shopper's paradise, St Laurent Blvd. Enjoy!

Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Good location. Room was great; bed was SO comfortable. Loved the shower. 24 hour room service. Staff was incredible; went out of their way to see that my needs were met. Airline lost my luggage for 2 days. Phone charger was in my checked bag. Called the front desk at 10pm to inquire about the location of a retail store in the area so that I might purchase a new charger the following morning. Had a replacement charger for my phone in a matter of five minutes. Staff sent snacks and beverages to my room with a handwritten note expressing their concern for my lost luggage situation. Concierge made numerous phone calls to airline to help locate my missing bags. If only all hotels were this nice and staffs this friendly, caring, and helpful! A+++++++

Great hotel. Very modern and hip decor. They let us check in early at 11 am and gave us a late check out. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite. But it was on the 3rd floor, above the Wunderbar. The music was so loud it kept us up until 3 am. We complained and they sent us complimentary martinis and offered us a room change (but smaller room- no suites available) or even just another room to sleep. The entire hotel staff frequently checked on us and did everything possible to accomodate us, even providing free on demand movies. Great location (metro is across the street), great service, and great if you want to be at a happening hotel with a rockin' bar scene.
