This is a very good hotel with good price for vacation in Banff area. Very nice brackfast. Only complain is that it is to close to the railroad. Train noise at the night is bothersome.

The hotel was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The mountain views from the room were breath-taking. Although we did hear the train, it was not obnoxious and it would be difficult to find a hotel where you could not hear the train. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provided a great deal of knowledge of the area. If we ever get back to the area we would definately consider staying at the lodge again.

Bear Country Lodge is a fairly new hotel in a greta location. Rooms were comfortable and the free breakfast was good. Great Belgian waffles. We would stay there again.

There is nothing plus about the Bear Country lodge, but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The only thing that I would ask for, based on the price, is that they put a coffee maker in the room. Also was slightly dispointed that they didn't have the resteraunt open for breakfast during the winter at least on weekends.
