| The rooms were small by U.S. standards, but the hotel in all was very nice. Quiet (being out of the city center has advantages), very clean, great views in a nice neighborhood. Don't expect a view from your room, however, unless you ask for a room with view. I had good luck with the restaurant. A nightly special was 27 Euro, expect 35+ for a full dinner otherwise. From Mergillina station, go about 1/2 mile to the funicular across from the harborfront cafes. Take the funicular to the second stop, then go downhill about 300 meters to the hotel. The view from the street uphill from the hotel is great - but expect to share it. Public displays of affection are pretty common along this scenic street.

| The Hotel Paradiso has some of the best views in all of Naples. However, the hotel is far out of the way from downtown Naples and it takes either taxis or trains and funiculars to get back and forth from downtown.

| This hotel was top of the line. There was one problem, the food was not the best, but it was Italian food. I am american so it was a little different for me.
