............great place .........so well kept .....clean and then cleaner....comfortable beds....I almost hate to write this because selfishly I would like to keep it all to myself ..........but they deserve to hear positive feedback ..........I am planning to be back next week for a week and have already booked CAA..........the room views are not the best ....but it matters little when the location is so perfect ......the staff at the front desk is courteous, friendly and very helpful...........the elevators are a bit slow and the womens lounge open door at the lobby elevators is a little off-putting ...........but pale in the shadow of the quiet elegant CAA environment...........i hope to return many times !

Older hotel, very conveniently located to Art Institute and Millenium Park. Common areas not air conditioned during extreme heat wave. Elevators were like a sauna. Room lighting very dim, electrical plugs highly inaccessible for computer set up. Dial up internet service unless one can connect with an unsecured wireless that the computer found. If you're looking for a adequate place to stay for a night, this fits the bill.

Knew it was old but...horribly run down. From the elevators that worked only sporradically to bleach stains on the carpet, worn out and tired bed linens and a tub that didnt drain. The air conditioner wasnt cold and the room so tiny we stayed away as much as we could. I must say the location is remarkable and I heard the same reports of other hotels in the area being in the same poor condition

You can't beat this hotel if you want a great location across from Millennium Park. The 'club' hotel is in need of some serious updating. It is really old. The health club's equipment is over 15-20 years old. If you like views from your room forget it. Most rooms face buildings. The star of this hotel is the 8th floor dining room. The view of the park and lake from this dining room in breathtaking. This is a value play.

I arrived at the hotel at 10:00pm to be greeted by a very loud party vibrating through the lobby & as far as the 9th floor. Very hungry, I tried to get something to eat, but was told that the kitchen staff had left for the day. Sleepless from the noise the previous night, I went down for breakfast the next day to be told that there was a private party scheduled in the dinning room, I wasn't allowed to eat. I grabbed a coffee & went to my 2 hr business meeting, then checked out. By this time, faint with hungar. This hotel, obviously doesn't make its money on regular paying guests, but relies on events. The staff was not neither sympathetic or helpful, I felt like I was in the way of a number of other functions. The enviroment is old & grand, but I didn't feel I could appreciate it much. I not do recommend this hotel.
