Features
What to expect: This former luxury apartment building offers an intimate atmosphere with a medieval Italian theme. Guests relax after a day of business meetings in the calming blue light of the Blue Bar or dine under the gaze of antique stone faces in the Coeur de Lion restaurant. Amenity highlights: Guestrooms are richly decorated in warm colors, with high ceilings and an occasional four-poster bed. Ample desk and table space are a boon to business travelers, and complimentary morning car service takes guests to appointments in downtown Washington. Guests have access to a fitness center two blocks away at the Morrison-Clark Inn. Insider tip:The Henley Park is less than a block from the Washington Convention Center and two blocks from Washington's small but vibrant Chinatown, which centers on Seventh and H streets NW. Visitors looking for a taste of one of Washington's real neighborhoods will find a variety of restaurants, shops, and art galleries that attract residents rather than tourists.
Wilkes Room - Afternoon tea is served in this traditional drawing room with a fireplace. Blue Bar - Patrons enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres with live jazz and dancing on the weekends. Coeur de Lion Restaurant - Fine New American cuisine is served in an elegant, brick-walled atrium.

| nice big deluxe room, king size bed is a pleasure. New and comfortable sheets and pillows. The bar area isn't as impressive and they no longer do Live music on weekends. A bit pricey, and valey parking is a bit pricey, but better than a garage.

| Very centrally located, clean, comfortable rooms, nice amenities (terrific bar). Connected to several other facilities nearby so you can charge with your room card, which was cool. Overall loved it and would like to stay again

| The hotel is on the National Historic Registry with many of its historical aspects well preserved with the hotel possessing a bit of old fashioned charm. Hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to provide good service. Our room was quite clean which made up for the small room (queen size bed) as well as the small bathroom. The hotel was within easy walking distance of White House, Smithsonian and many other sites and restaurants.

| This is a nice place, Very old school. Friendly staff, comfy rooms. Free wifi was definetly a huge plus. Only thing that I didnt like was that the website says theres parking, but it doesnt mention the fact that you have to pay for it. The whole time I assumed the hotel had its own free lot.

| Only criticism is that the room service prices are very high, and they tack on 3 different room service charges using different names... so a simple breakfast of French Toast and Scrambled Eggs ends up costing $30. I didn't see any good restaurants nearby so I ended up paying it.

| I stayed here over July 4th, and we got a good rate for DC. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. The standard room was listed with a queen bed; however, only the headboard was a queen and the matress was a full. The closest Metro is approx. 3 blocks away. We were able to save on parking by parking right in front of the hotel on weekends. There is also a public parking lot right behind the hotel that has a daily rate cheaper than valet parking.
