| I selected this hotel primarily for its close proximity to the Hollywood Bowl (to attend a concert). This worked out extremely well. The second best feature is that it's walking distance to all of downtown Hollywood, and even Universal Studios via the subway. Overall an excellent value.

| First impression from hotel exterior dwindled from what was excited to moderate. Upon entering lobby, impression further deteriorated. Was waiting in line, while receptionist was serving a foreign tourist. His demeanor did not reflect any element of friendly customer service. In contrast he had a tone of sarcasm in response to the customer's inquiry on the room's spa-tub. My turn came by, avoiding a confrontation; I had very little words for this bloke. Upon receiving the room key, approached the one and only hotel lift, which does not even qualify to be labeled slow. Entered room on 2nd floor. Interior was old, dingy and did not have a spa-tub as was declared in hotel amenities. My wife and I almost wanted to change hotels to Holiday Inn, just next door, but unfortunately, it was full house. So we had no choice but to stay on. To add on to our misery, both of us were woken up many times through the night due to stinging pain. We turned on the lights, removed the comforter, and to our dismay, ANTS. ANTS crawling by our pillows and on the floor. Upon further inspection, we found at least 5 Ant-traps left by the hotel owner in the room at various locations. It clearly shows that the hotel establishment is in full knowledge about the pest, but ineffective measures have been used. The only plus side to this hotel is its proximity to Hollywood Blvd and the Bowl. Never wish to get back in this ant infested dilapidated building again.

| Very near to Universal studios and within walking distance to Hollywood BLVD. Parking is difficult due to set up and very small spaces.

| This place is walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Boulevard. It's a 20-30 minute drive to Santa Monica beach, Venice beach, and Universal Citiwalk and also about a 10-15 minute drive to Melrose and Beverly Hills for shopping. The room was comfortable but looked really old. Our television didn't work very well and we didn't even use the pool because it didn't look very appealing but we did have a microwave and fridge....very convienent! This place is great for people on a budget.

| Room was gloomy, somewhat dirty. The bathroom was not very clean, and the lighting was horrible. The TV in the room was so fuzzy we couldnt watch it. Both room keys failed to work after 2 days. They said it was from my cel phone (though I don't have one). Front desk help was terrible.

| Nice Hotel to stay in which is right of the Hollywood strip and close to Universal Studios. The only issue that had is the lack of entering and exiting the hotel.

| Location is good, central to many things to see in LA and Hollywood. Price was right. Parking was tight, but self parking convenient. Many places to eat nearby (walking distance), plus a small market and a starbucks across the street. Has its own cafe but we did not use it. Kodak center is also within walking distance. We had a small kitchen ("frig and Micro") very convenient, but sink doubled for make up area, (didn't seem to cause us much trouble); (could be problem if more than 2 to a room). I will stay there again when I come to LA for plays and/or the Hollywood Bowl. They were upgrading interiors to many of their rooms so it maybe even better than our stay.

| This is a motel, not a hotel. It is very old. AC is loud and smelly. Two days in a row, we got towels with small short hair (someone used it for haircut without being washed?). Parking is free, but very small which is terrible for a van. The poor is nice and shady.
