| Hotel room smelled like smoke (in a non-smoking hotel). Was moved to a different room that still smelled like smoke. Rewards members are not treated well and are not given upgraded rooms.

| The Shilo is a great place to stay. We take our dog with us, so we get a ground-floor room on the river side. The rooms are huge! They have a small fridge, coffee maker and bar area. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The only area that needs work is the wait staff for breakfast. They can't quite seem to take care of the customers they have, and the food seems to run out with regularity. But we'll go back!

| Everything was generally good, including an awesome view of Keefer Island on the Snake River. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had a non-smoking room, but there was a thick cigarette "funk" smell in the room. The staff was quick to spray the room, so then it smelled like air freshener and stale cigarettes. The hotel was full, so we couldn't change rooms. It would have been nice if the hotel had offered a break on the room given this inconvenience. The other complaint is that the air conditioning in the lobby and hallways seemed to be broken or non-existent. Idaho does get hot in the summer, so it was a bit uncomfortable.
