A great choice for a base in Marrakech. The walk through the small streets to get here might put some off, but its location makes it ideal for those who are looking for a quiet spot close to everything. The riad and its rooms are small but charming and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We just returned from a week's stay an are plotting our return.

The riad was beautiful. It had a gorgeous fountain in the center, the food was fantastic, and the people were so nice and helpful.

This exotic Riad is not easily found on one's own (but a taxis can take you right to it) hidden in the old Medina among a real neighbourhood near a local hospital and shopping stalls, and not in a hotel gorged tourist area. It's very close to the main souk and a royal palace, and makes a great home base to explore the city. The staff are lovely and sweet. The Riad's smallish courtyard is right out of an exotic storybook and in sharp countrast to the dry dusty countryside. The room is very Moroccan appointed with handmade furniture and terra cotta tiled floors. Vistors are greated with a cool room (sometimes hard to find in Morocco)that is scattered with rose petals. This is a very non-touristy place to stay. The staff make you feel like you are an honoured guest and and will cater to your every need. Have breakfast on the roof top - it's a great way to start the day. The Moroccan breads and yogurt and fresh juice enhance the morning experience (and are included with the room charge).
