| apart from the lake and the little partk next to the hotel, Downtown Chilliwack is not the most inspiring part of town unless you have transport. We were there in early January and it was a lovely quiet place to stay. We only ate breakfast there but it was very good and reasonably priced. the coffee percolator in the room was good but in Australia rooms usually have a bar frig with cold drinks etc and where you can put fresh cream for the lovely fresh coffee instead of that dreadful coffee whitener!
