| My wife and I went down to Punta Cana for the first time 6/1-6/5. After reading reviews of numerous properties, we chose the Ocean Blue, and we were not disapointed. The room was spacious with a view of the coutyard and pool. The staff was very hospitable, and for an all-inclusive, the food was quite good. The beach was very clean, and the sand powder soft. Lots of beach chairs. Only draw backs were: check-in was too long (2 hours); and no waiter service on the beach. Despite the long check-in, we'd definately go back to this resort.

| We booked this hotel because it was new and looked great. We weren't disappointed!! The room was great, the hotel staff was great and the food was okay. There are activities for families and couples and the beach access was probably one of the best in Punta Cana. The staff was cleaning and painting and keeping the hotel looking fresh and new. It was awesome and we will definetely go back.

| The resort was really nice and I felt like I was in paradise. There were lots of activities to choose from such as bowling, dancing, water aerobics and attending a show at the outdoor thearter. The cuisine let much to be desired.

| Ocean Blue was a good dea for the money. The hotel staff were extremely accomidating, although the pace is slower and language can be problematic. Golfing at the resort was good, but still in progress. When the course is completely finished, it will be wonderful.

| Nicest beach vacation that I have ever taken. If you just like strolling down the beach it is the place to go. Not many people selling on beach which is nice compared to Mexico. They have shops set up on the beach in a few places so you can go shopping. If you do buy something from vendors cut price in half or even more. One day the seaweed was pretty bad, but beach was cleaned up the next day. There are other things do if you are interested although I would skip swimming with the dolphins (in pool with dolphins swimming around you). Grounds were immaculate as well as having enough chairs on the beach and around the pool. You may need to get to beach a little early if you want a spot under one of the shade canopies. Food was good but I would not call it gourmet eating. We tried all the ala-cart restaurants but I would probably recommend just going to the buffet. Never had to wait at the buffet but expect 20-40 min wait at ala-cart restaurants if you go after 7:30ish. Stop at Mikes Coffee shop for desert and coffee after dinner (they never seemed to have decaf though). You need to check each day what the activities are. Make sure you go to barbeque at pool if they have it. Room was nice with large bathroom and tub. Had more than enough soap and shampoo as well as mini bar being restocked with beer, water and soda each day. No need to exchange money but bring singles for tips. No one told us but there is a $10 fee per person as you enter country. Would definitely return.
