| This is a hotel with small but functional rooms with a great location half a block from Nevsky Prospect and only a 10-15 minute walk from St. Isaac's Church and the Hermitage. Good for travelers on a budget who aren't looking for extra frills and aren't going to be spending much time in their rooms. I also felt safe staying here as a woman.

| I'm happy with getting a hotel at the center of St. Petersburg and glad it went through without any problems. I booked the hotel thru expedia just a few days before arrival, so I was worried that it won't go through at first since most places require at least 5 days booking in advance, but it was up to my expectation. The price is higher than what I expect for a standard room, but the location is a plus. I would have had a hard time finding the hotel if my friend didn't come to pick me up from the train station. It's just a short walk from the Metro station or from the Hermitage/Winter Palace. Finding a clean restroom in St. Petersburg is a challenge, so being able to just stop by the hotel to use the one in my room was convenient since it's on my way to other attactions that I was going anyway. I arrived the hotel around 9am after an overnight train ride, and I was able to check into my room right away and had breakfast just a few steps from my room. Breakfast was simple, but efficent. There is a computer with internet access which is conveniently located in the breakfast room. Upon check-out, I was also able to just leave my luggage with the front desk and pick it up around 11pm to get to my night train back to Moscow.

| A few mins walk from the big sightseeing spots - really! It's not just hotel blurb. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Close to the canal for riverboat sightseeing trips etc. For Russia the staff were very welcoming and friendly and they really can speak English not jus say "no". Rooms very small and closet space extremely limited so don't bring too much with you butthe breakfast is excellent.

| Our stay in St. Petersburg was made all the more wonderful by the staff of Hotels on Nevsky. We are looking forward to our next visit and most certainly plan to book with the same hotel firm. I highly recommend Hotel Deluxe should you be traveling with children, because of the comfortable duplex suites.

| This place is quite basic, but nice nonetheless. The rooms are clean and nice. The staff is really nice and friendly -- something one can't take for granted in SPB. Free phone and wireless internet is definitely a positive surprise. The location doesn't get any better.
