| This hotel is perfect for a couple looking to explore Old Montreal for an extended weekend. The room is small but has everything you need to sleep and prepare for a full day of excitement in the city. It is situated at the east end of Old Montreal and everything is within walking distance. And the complimentary breakfast is very good!

| Our room was right next to the stairs, which proved to be very loud, but the breakfast was wonderful (included in the price of the room) and the service was friendly. Room was also clean and comfortable.

| This is a very basic hotel in the old part of Montreal. There is no elevator, so I had to drag my luggage up and down several flights of stairs. The room was tiny, I barely fitted in with my luggage. That said, the staff were helpful, and while the place is very old, it is kept acceptably clean. If all you are looking for is a no-frills hotel, and you don't mind lugging bags up and down stairs, thwen this hotel might suit you.

| Great European hotel located near the old port, only $10 taxi ride to St. Catherine's shopping district. And almost all other areas of interest. Staff is nice and willing to help. Great old world food and wines in house! We enjoyed our stay! There is air! Everyone is on the same system (as in Europe) Rooms have own heaters. Air conditioning is not needed most of the time!

| As the pictures show it has a lot of charm to the place and is located walking distance to the metro and vieux Montreal. The location is great. One disadvantage is no sound proofing in the walls. I could tell that the couple next to us had a great trip. The other disadvantage is an extremely small room. We had a full size bed against one wall and about 2' from the bed to the other three walls. Overall, I would stay there again

| My husband and I both like clean inexpensive hotels. The Hotel Champ de Mars was a charming hotel. It was very old and basic but the staff was very friendly! They served a full breakfast every morning that was great. I would definitely stay there again.

| I travel a lot, both on business trips and for leisure. This hotel has horrible guest rooms. It is so small that if two double-beds are placed in the room, I have to stand on the beds (there won't be place for anything else). No telephone in my room, the TV is 9 inch, the only lamp in the room is as light as an investigation lamp in the police office.

| What a find- located a very short walk to Old Montreal, also very close to the Metro. Clean rooms, great service, awesome location- what more could you ask for? Also, full complimentary breakfast each morning. Would not hesitate to stay here when I visit Montreal next!
