| The hotel is located approximately 30 minutes by train (a 20 minute walk to the station) to Victoria station in London. It is a nice and tidy hotel with a restaurant and bar, good workout room and pool. The staff was very nice and it was easy to get service when needed. There are charges for items that one might not expect - for example, it cost 2-pounds for a couple of buckets of ice. Overall, a very nice experience.

| Quality Hotel Gatwick is conveniently located - about a 15 minute bus ride from Gatwick Airport. There are restaurants, a multiplex cinema, and a bowling alley within a short walking distance. The hotel itself has a beautiful restaurant and bar as well as an indoor swimming pool and nice health club with a workout room, steamroom and saunas. The hotel also has computers with internet access available for a reasonable fee. Our room was small but comfortable and had a refrigerator. A hotel of this caliber, however, ought to have coffee makers and hair dryers in the guest rooms. Also, a free shuttle to and from the airport would have been nice (the bus costs three pounds each way - a lot for such a short ride). Those are relatively minor criticisms though, and I'd still give this hotel a high recommendation if you need to stay close to the Gatwick Airport to catch an early or late morning flight.

| The heat did not work in the first room they gave me. In the second, they neglected to put out any toiletries. Both rooms were quite dated and need to be totally renovated. My wake-up call, which is supposed to be delivered through the TV, never came on the first day. And, on the second day, it came an hour and 10 minutes late. Good thing that I didn't have an early flight to catch!
