| The beds were very comfortable and plush. The rooms looked as if they were newly refurnished and decorated, including new carpeting. Don't miss eating in the restaurant, kind of pricy but the food was excellent. There are no restaurants in the downtown that are open for breakfast. The cinnamon french toast was to die for. Hotel staff VERY friendly and helpful. Shuttal from hotel to casinos.

| Great location close to shopping, landing and friday night concert with fireworks under the arch. We walked just three blocks over for a wonderful dinner ar Derdoffs and Hart. Although we didn't go to the game we couldn't help but be caught up in the spirit of the cardinals.

| Stayed for 3 nights and very impressed by the staff. Uniformly helpful and went the extra mile to help when small issues arose. Parking very safe and convenient. Extremely convenient to route 70/40/44 so easy to get elsewhere in the area. Room was very quiet. Bed comfortable.

| The lobby of the hotel is wonderfully restored and captures the era of the buildings original construction. A welcome security feature is that a room key is required to operate the elevator. Don't be deceieved by ugly modern hall ways. The rooms are elegantly decorated (if a bit small by modern standards) and maintain the high ceilings of the original era. Downtown St. Louis is a ghost town but if you're planning a weekend getaway and don't plan to leave the room ;) this hotel would be a great choice.
