| If you want to stay at a chic hotel in the center of New York, near Times Square, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is half a block from Times Square. My experience at the hotel was excellent. The hotel is modern, clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. The hotel also provided an excellent complimentary continental breakfast, which is uncommon for most New York hotels. I highly recommend this hotel; however, if you are a more conservative person, I don't think you msy like the hotel.

| Stayed here for a business trip and really liked it. The downstairs bar can be a bit too much of a "scene" for me, but when it's not busy, it's laid back and relaxing. The pool, sauna and steamroom are great, but they were closed during my entire 8-day stay, so check first if you plan to use these facilities. Rooms are good size for New York, and the bathrooms are funky and spacious (all rooms have different layouts). Overall, a great place to stay - laid back with just the right amount of style!

| The lighting in the halls of this hotel make the W halls seem excessively bright. The QT seems geared toward the MTV generation stepping out for a night away from campus. From the hotel reception which appeared at first glance to be a bodega behind glass, to the lobby swimming pool with its swim up access to the hotel bar,to the dimly lit halls, this hotel is all about hip. The rooms are shotguns with a width equal to the length of the bed and a length that results in the world's longest shower and toilet stall. I had no issues with service, the room, or its Times Square location. For the money, this forty-something business traveler will be better-served in the future by paying the few extra dollars for a more conventional establishment.

| Ok, the room itself is 10x10 + the bathroom, but the platform bed (with down pillows and comforter) and the lcd tv mounted on the wall makes it seem larger. It even comes with a dvd player mounted under the bed. All in all, quite cozy, and it is right in the middle of midtown (1 block from Times Square, 3 blocks from Rockefeller Plaza). On the downside - the in-room safe was not working correctly, and there are no do-not-disturb signs in the rooms so you will be woken up by the maid service if you decide to sleep in. There was also a large party happening in the next room on the first night, but as it was the day after Christmas, that is probably to be expected.

| The hotel QT is a great place to stay if you want to be about 1 minute walk away from Times Square. No one, even the taxi drivers, knows quite where this hotel is because it is so new. Make sure to bring along the address for your taxi driver to get you there. The front desk is helpful and friendly. The room is pretty much like the picture shows. It is like a luxery dorm room. Perfect if you are not going to be in your room much, but don't stay here if you want a "luxery" experience. The pool was being fixed when we were there and we were not notified. This was a little disapointing. The continental breakfast was very good and worth the trip downstairs for a light breakfast before hitting the city. I think the hotel is still finishing rooms up because they were bringing in mattresses, etc. as we were staying there. So, if you want to have a comfortable, low priced luxery hotel, this is the place if you are going to be busy in the city. If you want frills and a big room, go someplace else...
