| If you're in the market for a hip, urban boutique style hotel that's slightly astray of the madding crowd, this it the place for you. Not a huge place, but total class. We'd definitely go back.

| I chose this hotel based on reading other people's glowing reviews, and was not disappointed. The decor is exquisite, the staff is welcoming, the breakfast is substantial, the location is convenient yet removed from the chaos around Piazza San Marco. The only negatives: the mattress was firmer than I'd like, and one evening the front desk person recommended a restaurant that turned out to be closed for a month's vacation. It's not cheap, but nothing in Venice is - I think it is a fair value.

| Great "bijou" hotel in a central location but out of the way enough to be quiet and relaxing. Movement around Venice is easy with the Vaporetti and the southern end of the grand Canal on the door step and St Marks a very short ride away. Hotel was a tasteful mix of contemporary and traditional. Breakfasts were simple but well cooked and filling. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
