There was a musty odor in our room that was obvious when you first entered - may have been because I requested nonsmoking and didn't receive it. The shower drained very slowly and flushing the commode was a two step process every time. The bed was very comfortable, and we used and enjoyed both pools. Beautiful setting on the lake.

I went planning on spending 2 days at Cedar Point, but because the hotel had so much to offer I spent the whole time within 5 minutes driving distance from the hotel or on the actual resort itself. Excellent place to stay!

Our room was great and there was plent to do. Instead of spending all our time at Cedar Point, we were able to enjoy many other activities. This led to a much more relaxing vacation. The golf course was wonderful. The pools and facilities were top notch. Staff was helpful and friendly.

A great and quiet alternative to the resort water parks near Cedar Point. I will stay there again!

We stayed at Sawmill Creek for 3 nights right before the '06 season went into full swing. The hotel was kind of quite but the rooms were in great shape, the staff was extemely helpful and friendly. All the facilities including the pool, restraunt and golf course are all top notch. Would stay with them again.

The hotel was excellent. We were traveling with our 5 year old grandson and he was delighted with the Indian decor, fireplaces, and swimming pool. We enjoyed our first days of spring viewing Lake Erie from the observation deck and enjoying the marina. We're looking forward to a return visit.
