If you're looking for a relaxing and luxurious hotel in provo, the palms is it! the grounds and buildings are absolutely beautiful and well kept. many of the palms' rooms are of the suite variety, however, we stayed in a "regular" room, and it was really something. you could tell that the hotel management put alot of thought into the decor and feel of the room. also, the hotel staff was, almost without exception, friendly and willing to help. also, we went in august, during the offseason and when the hotel was nowhere near full capacity. that meant few kids and no fights for the beach chairs on the "adults only" boardwalk facing the water. the one drawback to this hotel is that there are only two restaurants and both are expensive. even the poolside restaurant, where you can eat while still dripping wet from a dip in the pool, is not cheap at all. because we wanted to spend as much time by the water as possible during the day, rather than wandering outside of the hotel, we ate lunch at the poolside restaurant and found ourselves paying $40 per lunch for 2 people on a regular basis. if you're planning on spending most days lounging by the pool or on the beach, i would strongly suggest bringing snacks and food that you can eat for lunch. or, early on in the trip, go to the nearby IGA supermarket and pick up some food.(the "gourmet deli market" on the hotel grounds is quite expensive.) i would definitely stay at this palms hotel again.

If you need to rest, eat great food and spend delightful day time at the beach, you need to go to Turks and Caicos. To complete the perfect portrait you need to add The Palms, one of the best hotels in the world and I have stayed in many great hotels, believe me...

The hotel is overpriced for the lack of ameneties it offers. The kitchens were nice but there was nowhere close to get groceries. The restaurant was o.k. if you don't eat out much. Stay away from the horrible baked goods. Most of staff there with the exception of the manager & the housekeeping staff lack charm or warmth.

My husband and I just got back from a 5 night stay at The Palms. Our room was absolutely beautiful. We didn't want to leave. The pool area and beach are gorgeous and well maintained. Restaurants around the island in general are very expensive. We ate at Coco Bistro and Aqua - both less expensive than some of the other restaurants on the island, but were two of the better dinners we had while we were there. Snorkeling and diving are fantastic in Grace Bay. Highly recommend Big Blue Unlimited for diving! All in all, we just got back and are already planning a trip to return in January.

The palms is definetly a 5 star place. Never been so impressed with accomadations or the cleanliness. The only problem i had was workers in bar and resturants were not very fast and some acted like you were bothering them if you needed something. Paying those kind of prices you expect better service. The spa on the other hand was fantastic! Would definetly go back!

Probably the best resort Hotel on Provo. We are from the North East United States and are use to immediate saticfaction. When we want something we want it now. We knew going down that the Islands are a slower consistent pace. It really helped us to relax and enjoy the time we had. The beach was stellar and the pool spectactular. This is however a family friendly hotel. The weekend brings children and not everyone has the same ideas on child rearing. Those are the days we stayed away from the pool and went 50 feet to the beach were service was excellent. Good aray of free Non-motorized water sports and availability of expensive motorized water sports. Plenty to write about. Your attitude and previous experiences will ultimately determine your satisfaction.

The best part of our trip to Turks and Caicos was The Palms. Even though we had the smallest "type" of room, it was extremely comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The pool is beautiful as well as the beach. We were there off season and still there were many very small children. The grounds are well kept.

This hotel offers total "5 Star" service. We visited in 10/05 & just went back in 3/06. No request is too big. They are at your service 24/7. However, we do recommend that you go during off season to really enjoy this hotel especially if you don't want alot of kids there. There are alot more people during peak season but, you still get the same great service and you couldn't ask for better people. You won't be disappointed. It was amazing!!!!!! Were going again in October 2006.
