| My mom and I spent two nights in this hotel and generally we enjoyed our stay there. The hotel staffs are very friendly, though some of them cannot speak and understand English well. The hotel room is clean, especially the bathroom. Also the complementary breakfast is good, provided with good service. The hotel is only two blocks from subway station and also is very close to a few restaurants, such as Wendy's, Subway and Chinese restaurants. If there has to be something imperfect, it would be the occasional noise occurring at 2:00am in the morning outside our room. I figured later that it is because some new comers have just checked in and they talked so loudly without any concerns of other people. I think the hotel should do something to avoid it in the near future. In general, I think this is a good place to stay if you tour around in the city. By the way, you can take the express train from the subway station to downtown Mahattan ($2) directly, which is quite convenient.

| if you are seeking a cheap hotel, not too far out of NYC - then this is a good choice. Only 1/2 hour on the 'E' subway to 5th avenue (after a short walk - less than 5mins).

| I was a bit put off with the neighbourhood at first, but the hotel is brand new and the rooms are clean and roomy. The hotel is 3 blocks from the train station. We had two little children and were very comfortable. Would stay there again.

| Hotel is on major street (Jaimaica Ave), which makes it much easier to find than other hotels. The parking is free, and there is also sufficient street parking (also free). Hotel is very near Wendy's, McDonald's, and a Chinese take-out (acrocc the street). I walked acorss street to get the Fried Chicken + Fried Rice combo for $6 from the Chinese eatery; the distance is about 20 meters (a stone's throw) from the hotel. Hotel also offers free coffee (24hrs) and simple breakfast (in the morning). There is also a vending machine (at 1st floor)that sells drinks and water for a dollar. Hotel staff is watching the entrance 24 hours a day. Hotel also has video camera monitoring the parking lot and surroundings. Hotel room is clean. It has a private bathroom that gives you good shampoo (Protene Pro-V) in two standard mini-bottles and standard soaps. Some other hotels in the area offer similar rate without the private bathrooms. TV channels are more limited. I don't recall having an adult channel, but all other standard channels are on TV.

| This hotel sits in the very heart of ethnic Queens, NYC, NY so, from the outside, it looks very unsuspecting. however, once you're in your room, the relaxing atmosphere and the jacuzi make it all worth while. there's not really a view to speak of, but then you ARE in the middle of a bustling city borough.
