| This hotel was incredibly clean and well kept. Everything was first class. The room was clean, comfortable and high class. The location was perfect. Beautiful downtown location. We walked to Federal Hill for dinner. About a 5 minute walk. I've paid much more for rooms that weren't 1/2 as nice. If you're in providence this is the place to stay.

| The Hotel Providence offers the atmosphere of an european boutique hotel concept in the center of Providence. The Staff is always willing to provide assistance in any matter to the guests. The facilities are superb: very neat and clean. Definitively, a place where we will stay again! Strongly recommended.

| We happened to stay here during restaurant week in town, so aside from the beautiful surroundings (lovely antiques and art)we were able to enjoy the excellent cuisine in the hotel restaurant for a special rate. All staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Only negative was the parking (not much in the area, and the hotel valet service was expensive).

| This is a nice little boutique hotel in a stylish old part of Providence, yet easy to access major city elements. The hotel is nicely furnished with original art and antiques, valet service, and a lovely restaurant. The room was well furnished with quality bedding, good internet service, nice bathrooms with quality fixtures. We enjoyed our stay. Our only problems were the electronic key cards seemed to expire every night and were necessary to use the elevator as well as enter the room (good security)so a minor nuisance. There was none of the wonderfully friendly and efficient bell staff or valet drivers on hand for our 5:00 a.m. check out - but when that is the worst of your problems - I'll return there on my next trip.

| The room was very beautiful and plush, and I definitely appreciated the full range of national-level newspapers that are offered in the lobby. Only two issues: in the morning, instead of having cold water come out of the spigot, there was only air (when I said something to the front desk, the said "That's odd, usually we only have an issue with the hot water"), and the nearby church seems to have it's bells ringing nonstop. Aside from this, a really nice hotel.

| This was a great find! The hotel is relatively new so the place was spotless! Our room was a bit on the small side but the beautiful new bathroom and luxurious linens made up for it...not to mention the amazing staff!

| After a weekend in Martha's Vineyard, husband and I stayed at Hotel Providence in order to catch a morning flight out of PVI. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The concierge showed us to our room personally, and offered local restaurant recommendations and coupons. We booked a king deluxe room, which was very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom had great tile shower and bright lighting. Our only complaint is that the hotel is located next to a church that rings its bells EVERY 15 MINUTES during the day -- and our room was directly across from the bell tower. Thankfully, the bells stop at a reasonable hour during the evening, and don't start up until mid-morning. This would be a big consideration for anyone who likes to sleep during the day. Otherwise, hotel and service were excellent.
