    Features
What to expect: Formerly the Hotel Nikko, this property received a 2001 makeover that preserved most of its Asian décor while incorporating modern European style. The sophisticated lobby offers a sleek bar and intimate, flower- and plant-filled spaces perfect for cocktails or chats. The predominately business and corporate clientele is well-tended by the hotel's efficient staff.

Amenity highlights: A business center next to the lobby also serves as a lounge, with large work desks, high-speed Internet connection, club chairs, and flat-screen TV. The swimming pool in a private courtyard is sheltered from the street, while the hotel's French/Mediterranean restaurant affords ample people-watching through large windows. Bedside telephones enable guests to control the TV, stereo, lights, climate, and other gizmos.

Le Festival - This contemporary bi-level restaurant serves French/Mediterranean cuisine. Garden greenery surrounds a more casual dining section, while the formal area is set with white linens.

Café Noir - Located in the lobby, this intimate cocktail bar and lounge is a great spot to relax or people watch.

This was a very nice hotel. The lobby was really cool. It had very modern furniture. The rooms had a Japanese feel. Very comfortable sheets and bed. Deep bathtub. Very close to big, upscale mall. Concierge was extremely helpful.

I was very disappointed in the service at this hotel. There was no customer service at all. The front desk was rude and the concierge was extemely rude and did not want to help me get a taxi. The carpets on the floor where the room was was dirty and so was the carpet in my room. The corners of the tile in the bathroom had not been clean they had crud in them.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Hotel staff very friendly and service was good. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Dinner options were a bit limited in the evening -- limited to the lounge -- food was okay, but a bit pricey for lounge food.

I was impressed with the hotel, my room and the service I received during my stay at Le Meridien of Beverly Hills. I should mention that after I had made reservations I decided to read reviews about this hotel, and was worried because some of the reviews were negative. However, after arriving at the hotel I noticed that the negative reviews were incorrect-the hotel, my room and the service was wonderful! The hotel was very clean and very well kept. I will definitely stay at Le Meridien of Beverly Hills again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Le Meridien was elegance from the moment I arrived. The valet met me at my car took my bags out of my trunk loaded them while I checked in. Once checked in my bags were unloaded and put away !! Everyday someone was asking how my stay was or if I needed anything. I would highly recommend this to any traveler.

Given the great location of the hotel (right down the street from Matsuhisa's and the Beverly Center) and the price we paid, I wasn't expecting too much. However, I felt reassured immediately after we entered, with a clean and comforting lobby. Although the reception staff did seem somewhat cold, the important thing was the rooms--spacious, with soft, relaxing colors and comfortable beds. When we left, the bell staff was also very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent. The beds are super comfortable. A few areas for improvement: they need to improve their valet parking service, get rid of the strong chemical smell on the 3rd floor, and fix the tubs. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The public areas of the hotel are beautiful (except the fitness room), but the guest rooms are showing wear. I stayed on the 3rd floor and it looked like it had been redone about 10 years after my friends room on the 4th floor. It was clean and the location was ok. I expected a bit more based on other le meridien hotels I'd been to before. It really is just ok.
