| First this is a 3 star hotel not a 2 star (it has a 3 star label from the French government displayed on the door). The woman who seemed to run the place spoke great English and insisted on speaking it with her English speaking guests. All the staff spoke decent English. This hotel is in the heart of the Tourist shopping district which makes it very lively and loud by day, but come early evening 7 or 8 depending on the day, all the stores cloe and it becomes beautifully quiet and restful. The morning after our first night the hostess asked how our night was and when I told her my bed was extremely uncomfortable she asked which one and what the problem was (lumpy and springs pushing) I came back that evening to find that it had been changed, and I slept much better. OVerall a great hotel in an interesting area. I would definitely stay here again.
