This was a great stopover for us on our trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. The grounds were lovely, the ocean was across the street, the room was large and very comfortable. Squirrels played on our patio, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She helped us with directions and recommended some great places to eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable night's rest at affordable prices. The place was not fancy, but it was wonderful regardless.

The shower curtain was pulled into the shower area which made for a quite uncomfortable time in getting a "good" clean shower. The breakfast was the bare minimum that could be supplied. Great directions to the elephant seal beach a few miles up the road. Made the trip worthwhile.
