Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel Amenities
Guests enjoy complimentary use of a nearby fitness center. Valet parking, 24-hour room service, and an in-room coffeemaker are among the many other conveniences for guests.

Features
What to expect: Kelly-green carpets and a lobby clock showing Dublin time introduce the Irish influence. Staff members, many with an Irish brogue, welcome guests with a special warmth that makes this luxury hotel distinctive.

Amenity highlights: Room decor reflects European elegance with sumptuous damask and jacquard bed canopies and elaborate swagged draperies to match. Both concierge and room service are available around the clock, and room amenities include a plush Irish terry robe and nightly turndown service. Guests also enjoy complimentary guest privileges at a nearby health club.

Insider tip: The outdoor deck off the Wheeltapper Pub is an unusual feature in New York, a perfect spot for breakfast or afternoon refreshments. Heat lamps mean it can be enjoyed for many months of the year.

Wheeltapper Pub -The recently enlarged Wheeltapper Pub is the centerpiece of the hotel, serving as a dining room and congenial gathering spot for guests. Period railroad decor and memorabilia add to the authentic pub atmosphere. The menu includes corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and Irish stew, as well as other international dishes. Eight kinds of beer and ale are on tap, and a hearty Irish breakfast is available all day.

Hotel was great. The only minor thing was that the bathroom fan went on with the light and the fan was very loud.

We had four rooms between my family so had much opportunity to need service. My Grandmother needed a wheelchair and they brought one promptly that we used for 3 days free of charge. One person checked in early and all they had available was a smoking room but they immediately sent up an ionizer to clear the air. Two rooms needed cots and they were there before we were! The staff was incredibly friendly, beyond helpful, and the location truly could not have been better. It is the only place my family and I would like to stay when we return.

This was a friendly hotel that was luxurious for the price. When I arrived they didn't have a room ready so they gave me a drink voucher for the bar while I waited. The room had a pants presser too :).

You never know what you're going to get in Manhattan. Some hotels that look nice on the internet, turn out to be very disappointing once you get there. The Fitzpatrick Grand Central was such a nice hotel. Great location. Very clean. The beds were so comfortable. The staff was always helpful. I would definiely stay again.

This small hotel, tucked into a side street right off Lexington Ave., is a real hidden jewel. The staff was highly professional and extremely helpful, the room was very comfortable with all the amenities you could want, and the location was outstanding, right by Grand Central Station. It was also within easy walking distance of several key destinations -- Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Times Square, the U.N. We will definitely return.

The Fitzpatrick is the best hotel I've stayed at in NYC. It was clean, the rooms are relatively large for a Manhattan hotel, and the accomodations make you feel right at home. The bar downstairs is a great place to grab a drink and hang out. Because of the location, this part of 44th is a lower traffic area so traffic and city noise is quite minimal. I would absolutely stay here again!
