Conveniently located near the largest church in the US, restaurants and major industrial contacts. Also less than an hour to Lexington for a day trip there.

The hotel room was clean and "compact." Wireless internet and a reasonable continental breakfast were the selling points and both were more than adequate.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in louisville. The price is great the staff were polite and helpful. Also the overall apperencie was pleasent and clean. The staff also worked with me when it came time for check out by allowing me to check out a little later with out any problems or charges. Besides the rooms being small but what do you expect its called the mircotel I would stay there anytime am back in the city.

This is a very nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The value is exceptional - I would gladly take a smaller room such as that offered by MicroTel in exchange for a great price for a very clean room with all the features I need. The free long distance and free wireless internet (which worked great) were also very nice perks. I will definitely stay there again.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Gas, food, conference center within a mile. The room was small but had everything needed for 3 night stay while attending seminars. Was comfortable for one person.

For an inexpensive place t o sleep this place was more than we expected. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Clean, new looking rooms. Love the queen size beds. I hate to sleep in a double bed with one of my children.

Our stay at the Microtel Inn was a great experience. The rooms reminded me of a dorm room. They were smaller than the average hotel room at various chains; however, there was no wasted space. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the mirror behind the bed that served as a head board. Then next to the window was a window seat that could have been used as a cot for someone to sleep on. Next I noticed the vanity in front of the bed. No other hotel I have ever stayed in had a vanity like Microtel's. I also loved the bathroom area. I liked how the shower curtain hung in an arc instead of straight across. This helped the air from hitting the curtain and blowing it into the shower while you are in it. Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful stay and we will stay in Microtel again!

On check-in, the front desk staff person was very professional. The hotel was quiet & no noise detected during the night hours, despite a bus parked in the lot & numerous young people spotted in the lobby & other areas. The room price was an excellent value for a clean, pleasant room. There were few amenities in the room--no coffee pot for example, but coffee available 24 hours/day. The main disadvantage is the room size which is very compact. My husband felt very cramped & closed-in for the 2 hours he was awake before me on Sunday morning. But overall, an excellent value!
