| Oakhurst is a convenient small town near Yosemite that seems overlooked by many travelers, but is a very convenient jump-off point to see Yosemite National Park. The Oakhurst Lodge is centrally located in Oakhurst and offers good restaurants and supply/shopping centers within easy walking distance. Further, the Oakhurst Lodge is a pick up point for the Deluxe Yosemite Tour, which is a wonderful tour for the traveler who isn't familiar with what to see in Yosemite or doesn't want to deal with the details of getting there, driving around, and finding the sights. As a resting point, the staff at the Oakhurst Lodge were all friendly and accomodating, and the room was suprisingly large and well cleaned.

| The motel is a good 18 miles away from Yosemite National Park, but nice, clean, comfortable stay makes up for the extra travel. The town is reasonably interesting to walk around in the evening and there are a few nice eateries in the vicinity. Free continental breakfast was a nice touch.

| This hotel was ok for its proximity to Yosemite. Price was reasonable. Nothing fancy. Toilet ran all night until we shut off the water to it and the shower didn't drain particularly well. Other than that, room was clean. I would ask for a quiet room in the back. Located next door to a great restaurant--Crab Cakes.

| The room was poorly lit. The continental breakfast got booring after the 1st day. We stayed 3 nights and was disappointed that we would forfeit 100% of the 3rd nights room rate if we had left after 2 nights.

| Old hotel, with a noisy location. For the price I payed I was expecting better quality, but I guess price is inflated by Yosemite nearby.
