| This hotel is about 20 minutes from Barcelona. We rented a car and found that the directions that they gave us to the hotel were spot on. And renting the car was much cheaper than hiring a taxi (however, you have to know how to drive manual). The hotel is located outside of Barcelona and in a great location if you have time to look around the area - Villa de Penedes, Wineries, Sitges, and Montserrat are all within a 20 minute drive. I would definately suggest checking them out. The hotel itself seemed rather new and it was a great place to stay. It was very relaxing and much nicer than the three stars listed on Expedia. We had an excellent view of the pool and the golf course with a beautiful balcony. It looked as if almost every room was placed in a similar situation. However, please note that the golf course that the hotel is on is NOT run by the hotel and you need a handicap card to play. It is rather expensive so I would suggest, that if you want to play that you get the package that is offered through Expedia. All in all we had an excellent time and have been referring friends ever since.
