| You can't beat the location of this budget, dive resort--the heart of Winwardside, the largest community on the island. Walking distance to anything in town plus all the trailheads. Rooms are simple, yet extremely clean and tidy. Four-poster beds with thin mattresses and lace bedspreads; wooden antique nightstands and tables; wicker chairs; tv; phone; standing fan due to no A/C; bathroom w/shower. Rooms don't have scenic, panoramic views, but rather look out over the narrow street and into the restaurant courtyard. Water conservation is prevalent so guests are encouraged to take short showers and keep toilet flushing to a minimum. Restaurant is well-maintained and serves fabulous food, but service is at times slow. The restaurant terrace has the best scenic viewing on all of property. Will definitely stay here again on next trip.
