Don't worry about not having an umbrella, Hotel Dubrovnik will provide one. Pricey but extremely well run, clean, quiet, and a breakfast of huge porportion, this hotel overlooking the main square is easy to get to by streetcar 6 from main bus station (airport bus goes to bus station). Croatia's water is some of the best water I have experienced in Europe. The showers and tubs at this hotel are more than first class. Worth every penny. Discount on restaurant in building well worth it as food is excellent.

Overall a nice hotel. Parking is a block away, on a restricted street and very small. Finding the hotel took two hours. The central location is worth the struggle.

It is right around the corner from the center city plaza and in the heart of all the out door cafes. Great staff who accommodated a change in reservation, ordered a wee hour cab to airport and packed a breakfast-to-go.

This was a good, comfortable hotel in a top location. If all the hotels I booked were of this standard and value for money I would be happy.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were spare but very clean. The food was great at the hotel restaurant especially the breakfast that was included every day. Unlike American hotel buffets, you get fresh scrambled eggs not some kind of powdered contraption. There are also sunny-side-up eggs that are available without ordering specifically. Our room had a view of the square and with the VIP option you get a terrace included. You are right at the main square surrounded by the Platz, the old town(Gorni Grad), and Captol. All the main sightseeing areas are just a stroll away!

Hotel Dubrovnik is in the heart of the city, overlooking the main square, adjacent to the main shopping street Ilica and the trolley stops, and within easy walking distance of the historical sections Gradec and Kaptol. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return on my next visit to Zagreb.

Hotel Dubrovnik was located right in the middle of Zagreb so there was plenty of action in that area. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast excellent with many choices of tasty food. The only drawback to the hotel was that it was very hard to find and the car park (which was an additional 80 kuna per day) was on a street that said, "No entrance - trolleys only". The directions from the hotel were not helpful. Once we found it, we were very happy with our stay.

I stayed in Hote Dubrovnik for five nights. I work in HIV and travel all over the world staying in all kinds of hotels. This hotel was very comfortable and convenient. I took the trams all over the city to meet with many people. The staff were friendly. There is only one computer for internet use for guests. However, there is wireless with T Mobile in the lobby area. The breakfast was good and had a variety of foods. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again next time I am in Zagreb.

Very clean rooms, although not specious. The hotel is clean any shiny overall, made me feel nice. From you at the very center of the city, so it is easy to get anywhere from the hotel.
