I'm all about pools - this one doesn't rate anywhere but the hotel and rooms was great. Comfortable beds. Shower in our room didn't work that well no pressure, so next time we go we'll request a room with a better shower head. Food was great and reasonably priced too. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

No major complaints about the hotel. Rooms were clean, service fine, and the several restaurants in the hotel had good to excellent service with good reasonably priced food. Convenient and easy access to other hotels & casinos. We are not big gamblers so stopped here passing through on the way to a national park. Rooms are inexpensive, paid a little extra for river view but probably not worth the extra $ for the less than 10 minutes we spent looking out the window. Majority of crowd here and visiting in the area seem to be retirees. Like most casinos it was a little smoky smelling in the casios but no smoke odor in the rooms or floors containing rooms. Other than the pool, there is very little for kids to do here. Not even a kid's menu...so not a very kid friendly hotel or area (no minature golf within miles although a movie theater is nearby.

This place was great! It is two exits away from the strip, so you dont have to fight with traffic to get to your hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. Everything in this place is new. It has an amazing aquarium and lots to do at the lodge. It was a great place to spend our weekend. I will definately be staying there on the next trip!!

We stayed here 10/21/05 though 10/23/05, you cant beat this hotel for the price, all brand new rooms. The service was great, we had a problem with our bathroom and it was fixed within the hour. This is our third trip to the Silverton, and we will definitely be back.

This was the first stop on our recent trip, and was the cheapest and best. The new building offers huge rooms with more than comfortable amenities. The food at the restaurant was also very good.

The room was perfect except it was dark. There were not enough lights (or bright enough lights) to lighten the room to where you could easily unpack and see what was going on and you certainly couldn't tell the color of your socks. Otherwise, perfect! The remodeled casino is well done except the took out the "Let it Ride" table which we liked and the attached Bass Pro Shop was wonderful. We ate in the cafe' as well and the upscale steakhouse and they were both very good. Well worth a return visit.

I really enjoyed my stay. I was on a business trip and didn't make use of all the hotel's features. The prices are VERY convenient. Although the hotel is not in downtown, it's not far away, either, if you have a car.Rooms seem to be dark, (not enough lighting), which is adequate if you are in a romantic trip, but not very much if you are in a business trip and need to review some documents after hours. The bottom line is "very convenient"

Silverton Hotel and Casino was undergoing renovation when we stayed this year, however, the service was above par from everyone. They are expanding their casino floor, rooms (more and upgrading) and adding a Bass Pro Shop store for the convenience of the guests. The hotel is located away from the strip, but has a free shuttle service to several hotels on the strip as well as the outlet mall. We had previously stayed in the KOA Kampground portion of the hotel and we absolutely love it. Definately will go back!!!

My first trip to Las Vegas was made better by staying at The Silverton. My husband and I will always stay there when we visit Las Vegas.
