| Located right on the main street, balconies overlook the river on the opposite side. The sound of rushing water drowns out most other noise. The view of trees and a river are nice in a downtown motel. The furnishings and decor are a bit dated and worn but quite clean. Poor television, so do bring a VHS movie. The motel is a short walk to the Aquarium and attractions in Gatlinburg. Park the car, forget hassling with the constant stream of cars aimlessly cruising downtown in an endless bumper-to-bumper stream.

| Our room was about 20 yards from the main street through town. We figured traffic noise might be a sleeping problem. We were wrong. The only night time sound was the peaceful creek water running outside of our balcony window. Clean rooms, great service when asking for a certain item, friendly staff, and an excellent location to downtown. Needs a little up keep on certain things, but had a great stay.

| Stayed in the older part of the building. Right on the river which was nice, but long walk down the street and across the river to the pool or breakfast. Very near all of the Gatlinburg attractions. Over all pretty good value.

| The hotel is close enough to down town Gatlinburg that you can walk everywhere but far enough that getting in and out in a car is not difficult. The rooms are large and roomy. I loved the fireplace just couldn't use it in the summer. Overall the room was very nice.

| We were impressed by the cleanliness of our hotel room. Each room has a balcony overlooking the Little Pegion river. Although the front door is facing the main road, the back door leads to the balcony where it was relaxing to hear the rushing water down below. Conveniently located half-mile to downtown Gatlinburg, we enjoyed our pleasant walks and not have to worry about where to park our car.

| Gatlinburg can get expensive and this is one of the lesser priced ones. It's a bit outside of the main strip, but readily accessible via the trolley system or car. Covered parking was a plus; nice pool and hot tub. Satisfactory free breakfast, too. Many restaurants within walking distance.

| This hotel was nice for the most part. It is in walking distance but it is a long walk to everything in downtown Gatlinburg. Especially if you have kids with you. I loved the private balcony over the river. It was so peaceful. Everything was pretty nice however I will stay somewhere different next time due to the walking we had to do. The price was great. The breakfast room in the lobby was a little small. There was not enough room to sit so we would either stand & eat or take it back to our room. And the only other thing was the bathroom was a little small for a family of four. If it is 2 people it would be fine.

| We had one of the rooms on the road side of the stream. This meant that our view from the balcony was of the stream and wooded area on the opposite bank. A very relaxing atmosphere.
