| We had arranged to get an extra bed for the room and the clerk at the desk rather than tell us they couldn't get one choose to argue with us about the problem. Yes we were exhausted and stressed when we got there but it was the attitude about trying to solve the problem that really turned us off. Obviously the hotel was trying to recover from storm damage (lots of new paint) and is in a humid climate but when we kept seeing roaches, we were put off and decided to leave the next morning. Expedia helped get us out of this predicament.

| There was too much noise after hours with children running the halls and people coming and going while slamming doors. The continental breakfast offering was the weakest I've ever experienced with not even orange juice. The AC system in our room wasn't working properly and we either slept in a meat locker or a sauna. The only positive was management allowing us to take a shower late in the afternoon after we had already checked out.
