Hotel is only 3 miles from the entrance of the south rim of Grand Canyon, which you find a general store, gas station, and restaurants located in a short distance. Hotel room is small but clean. the shortcomings for this hotel: (1) TV is out of date (2) Bathroom is too small and not well designed.

If you just need a clean place to sleep with OK food, the Quality Inn is fine. It is nothing special, but it is a decent hotel. If you want something special, stay at one of the hotels on the Canyon rim.

The Hotel is in a backroad, not impressive looks, staff is unmotivated, not locked on customer service. The room is OK for a one night very fast check out, the bathroom is very basic, bring your toiletries. Do not even think of spending more that a few sleep hours here, leave early in the morning and enjoy the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, that is why you are here for. It is really expensive for what you get. It must be quite easy to have something better here.

We had a pleasant stay this July in a very busy hotel only five minutes from the Grand Canyon. The bathrooms in our room were clean, we could not hear our neighbors, and the free breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

I had to get the room card reprogram on a daily basis. The pool area did not have any towels. The continental breakfast very limeted . Could not get room service to leave new coffee packets in room. Upon calling the front desk they informed me that they were alone and could not send anyone. Front desk was unaware of sites, directions they turned me way to Rangers for information. Luckly the Imax is next door and you can information from a ranger if there not on break. Customer service is not there priority. This also effects expedia and there hotel ratings.

The hotel was clean, there were 4 fluffy pillows on the king bed, with a soft comforter covered by sheets - very comfortable! We were disappointed with the cont. breakfast and dinner buffet. The b'fast only had melon, cereal and donuts - no yogurt, oranges, berries. For extra $ there were scrambled eggs. The place was average - but not the price which we though was too high for what we got - that's why we would try somewhere else next time we go.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Expedia is crazy to give this place 3 stars. The floors were so nasty, I was afraid to walk on it. The bathroom was outdated and nasty looking. The food and service at the hotel restaurant was horrid.

There are several other hotels for the price. The room was fine but the outside of the hotel wasn't very pleasant.

Inasmuch as the Grand Canyon surely must rank as one of the most popular - and crowded - tourist spots, one would expect the staff at the Quality Inn to be indifferent, or worse. Instead, we found them to be attentive and personable. When one entree proved to be overcooked, both the waiter and the dining room manager insisted on a partial refund.
