| The maritime is a beautiful hotel in a lovely little corner of Thailand. It is well designed, spacious and a very easy place to relax. The pool is a amazing, and the open-air spa memorable. I have a few complaints but on the whole it was a very nice place to vacation. First, housekeeping forgot to replace our towels one night. Second, the food in all of the restaurants is overpriced, bland and uninspiring. Do your best to avoid eating there. Third, it is on the outskirts of town, so you're more or less isolated from the rest of what's going on. Maybe that's your thing? It wouldn't have been such a big deal of the food in the hotel was worth eating... Anyway, it is a really lovely place, and you'd have to try hard not to enjoy it.
