| We checked into room # 209, but requested another room when we noticed both the sink and the toilet were clogged. Beds in 209 were uncomfortably mushy and the blankets were worn thin. When we switched to room # 214, the mattress was only slightly firmer, but the furnishings looked a bit newer and the blankets were new. A big improvement. The pool was too cold for my daughter to stay in for long; not sure if that was due to some technical difficulty. The whirlpool worked fine and was a good temperature. Breakfast was simple, but adequate: bagels, cereal, donuts. This establishment is very clean, and management was prompt with service and friendly. I don't understand why smoking rooms are on the same floor with nonsmoking rooms. I didn't think any places did that anymore. The nonsmoking rooms just do not smell as fresh as they should when smokers are in the same area. ONly double beds are available unless you request a suite (which overlooks the pool = noisy)
