This hotel proved to be everything we could have ever needed for a small family. We stayed in the one bed room suite. The atmosphere was perfect. Dining room, living room, kitchen, bed room, pull out couch bed, and a great balcony with a great view. If you are looking for a beach house condo, don't waste your money on expensive others. Stay here and enjoy the same pleasures as you would have there. Decor is a little out-dated, but did not affect our trip at all.

We recently spent 3 nights here. We loved the layout of our one BR suite. We had room for 2 of our kids on the sofa-bed and one in the twin bed, leaving my wife and I to enjoy the private suite with TV, closet and ceiling fan. The kitchen was stocked with glassware and cookware, and adequate dining area. I especially enjoyed the seaside view from the balcony. Two block walk, and you are on the beach!! Problems incurred: We had a hard time getting a maintenance man to service our plugged toilet. This simple service took at least 8 hours(!) to fix. The manager was never available when we called for assistance, as expected. Otherwise the suite was wonderful, nice and clean.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel ALOT!! However, I was somewhat upset with the staff, they were quite rude and dismissed me when I made a complaint about checking in. Once we arrived in the room, everything was wonderful, until check-out time when I had to deal with the staff again. Great hotel in a great location with bad staffing, but I would highly recommened this hotel to anyone because although the staff was not good it didn't affect how nice the actual hotel was!

We arrived in the evening. There was no trolly/cart for luggage and the rooms they put us in were quite a distance away (2 elevators, through 2 parking lots, etc.). We didn't even feel safe walking to them. The rooms were dirty, one of the rooms had jumbled up sheets dumped on the (made) bed, and the twin bunks were mattress only (not made). The maid service was gone for the night so all they did was send security over to take the (dirty??) sheets away. The second room had a dirty air filter set on the top bunk, which my children climbed up and found. The bathroom didn't have hot water. The rooms were not clean - we didn't even want to shower in them. We had a free shuttle to the cruise terminal which was suppposed to be there at noon, but we sat outside in the heat until 12:45 waiting for it. Aside from having a waterfront view and free internet, there was nothing good about this hotel. I wouldn't consider going back there.

We enjoyed the room for the price. Not the Waldorf by any means, but for a simple family getaway, it's nice to have the separate bedroom and kitchen.
