| The motel is very close to Sea World, about 4 miles. All in all, it's not the worst place I've ever stayed. But the room was moldy, and the trash truck showed up at 4 am every morning sounding like they crashed into every car in the parking lot. Also, parking seemed limited, especially if your room faces the Denny's on the corner. Lastly, the pool was a creepy blue color, and the bottom was not visible. One look and I turned around and walked away. Save the swimming for Sea World. On the positive side, the blond lady behind the front desk was very nice and helpful, and the free breakfast in the morning was plentiful. For the price and location, not bad. But find something nicer if you like quiet, clean air, and plenty of ammeneties.

| The evening staff was superior, in all respects, to the day staff. If you have questions, you're best off to wait 'til evening!

| The hot water faucet in our shower made a horrible noise that jolted the next door neighbors awake. I know because it was our son-in-law next door. Also their tub/shower was slow to drain. We tried to tell the management but no one was there on Thanksgiving Day, and then we forgot after that. We learned to turn the hot water on just a little bit so it wouldn't howl. Obviously an older La Quinta than others we'd stayed in.

| We requested a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. It really smelled bad. My husband stepped on a piece of glass in the carpet. We really just need a inexpensive place to sleep after a long day at Sea World. It was ok for that. I wouldn't want to just hang out there.
