| Perfect location in Vieux Quebec w/perfect access to cafes, shops, street entertainment, Funiculaire, river cruises, the Citadel, etc. Surprisingly spacious room (no view though). Lovely hotel pool (kids may be disappointed by no jumping/no diving rules and 9pm-10pm adult swim). Bright well-maintained exercise room with quality equipment. Delicious breakfast buffet. Courteous, helpful desk staff and concierge. Absolutely worth the added cost for a very special vacation!

| If you like food, history, art, boutiques a charming city and first class hotel. Quebec City and the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac won't disappoint. The hotel staff was friendly competent and helpful. The horse drawn carriage tour is well worth the money and will give your feet a welcome rest. Be sure to wear good walking shoes.

| If you travel a lot this hotel is ok but you will notice cracked tile in the bathroom and frayed comforters on the bed and paint that is not quite as impeccable as other Fairmonts. The pool was very nice and the staff courteous..except one of the doorman who was a little bit surly. They don't have coffee in the lobby in the morning which for frequent business Fairmont travelers who get up early will be an annoyance...no coffee until 7am. Overall a nice hotel but the details need some attention. Prices in the restaurant and bar were quite excessive in my opinion. 12.50$ Canadian for a Martini plus tax. 8.05$ Canadian for a pastry and latte. I thought that was excessive but the quality of the food was good.

| Small room. (REALLY small). Had to climb stairs to get to room (if you have a disability, be specific about your needs). Room was under a ballroom and there was loud music well into the night. The only thing it had going for it was the location.

| This hotel was not only beautiful and ideally located, the service was wonderful. We went in October but I bet it's wonderful in summer also with the river, boardwalk, and cafes.
