| We booked this hotel with no prior knowledge, and were so pleasantly surprised. Our first treat was that we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. I think every room has some sort of balcony, and ours overlooked the pool and the Mediterranean. The staff was extremely helpful and while all spoke English, some had a better grasp than others. The location is neat because it is walking distance to the main drag of Puerto Banus, about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile, but far away enough to be off the beaten path. WiFi is accessible throughout the hotel. The Downsides...it is a very high end hotel, so even the simplest things like ice were only accessible by calling room service. However, housekeeping and room service were quick and very attentive. I was not overly impressed by the hotel restaurants, and they were very expensive. The best meals we had were lunch at the Pool and the Guadalpin Salad through room service. As a guest of this Guadalpin, we had access to the services of their sister hotel in Marbella, but never got there. I neglected to get breakfast included in our package, but would do so in the future and recommend it. Also, the hotel had a very small and limited sundries shop. If I returned to Puerto Banus, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would recommend it to others.

| Loved this hotel. The hotel is brand new, so new that the spa (which looks to be impressive) and work out area are not yet completed, although their sister "sister-site" in Marbella has both and their is a free shuttle to that hotel, which is about 4 miles away. Also, you can take the shuttle to the Marbella resort if you want to go into Marbella to shop/eat/drink/sightsee. All the rooms have an enclosed large patio with a chaise and table and chairs. Our room looked out pool area and the view was spectacular from the pool deck. From the deck you look over the restaurants and hotel's private beach area and the sea. It is a short walk (3/4 mile) along the beach to the yacht club/restaurant/bar area which is where the action is. We liked the fact that we were just on the fringe of the all the action. I would definitely stay again both for the location- RIGHT on the beach, the private beach as well as the rooms - which were small but very comfortable and all new - decorated in dark wood and had a very tropical feel.

| We've been in more then 100 hotels in the world, and this one rises between the best. Simply great. Unfortunately its restaurants are a little bit expensive, but the ambience (especially by night) is worth it. Tip: Don't do our mistake. So plan to stay more then 4 nights
