| We were booked in a room on the same floor as a high school marching band. People were hanging out in the hallway right in front of our door laughing and talking as late as 2:30 AM. We called down to the fron desk three times asking for security to get the people into their rooms. We even spoke with the people in the hallways themselves asking them to please go into their rooms. They just copped an attitude. At 2:30 we called the fron desk and demanded another room. They didn't have one so they arranged for a room in another hotel. So, at 3:00 AM we were packing and leaving to go somewhere where we could actually get some sleep.

| As KY residents, we like a night out & stay in area hotels. We like to try new ones & tried this one. We paid a hefty amount to do so & can honestly it sucked. As a new hotel it is still very clean & nice. Until you actually get to staying the night. *The rooms are equipped with doors on springs that SLAM shut. You get the joy of hearing & feeling the doors shut for the closest 3 rooms & wow, do they slam--LOUD. So, if hearing a door slam shut at 3 AM excites you, book this hotel. As it is pet-friendly, pets are welcome. So you have a pet left in the room all day while it's owners are out. We had to move rooms to get away from a yipping dog that howled & howled. And thanks to the lack of soundproofing you can hear the dog down the hall clear as a bell in your room with the door shut. Now let's cover the hotel staff. Rude people who are actually annoyed when you bring to their attention a problem. Like transients sleeping in the hotel pool area, people parked in the few handicapped spots to load/unload, & the overall manner in which they handled our above complaints. I had one person say "oh, you again" when we called about the kids running up and down the hall at midnight. This hotel was a nightmare! We had a miserable time and paid through the nose to do so. The door flaws, the pet problem, the lack of decent property security & proper staff made it a huge waste of our money & time. Book elsewhere--there are lots of great hotels in the area, but this is NOT one of them.
