Features
What to expect: From brightly painted luggage carts to wildly patterned carpets to the golden Buddha in the lobby, this is no ordinary hotel. Business travelers return for the professional service, upscale dining, and convenient location less than a half-mile from the Loop. Vacationers enjoy the whimsical decor and proximity to attractions such as the House of Blues and Loop theater district. Amenity highlights: Within the hotel are a convenience store, restaurant, hip lobby bar, and a 25,000-square-foot fitness club (fee) with high-tech equipment, boxing gym, and spa. Together with other offerings in the Marina City complex, they create a nearly self-contained world. Insider tip: Hotel guests who buy concert tickets to the House of Blues can skip the line for most general-admission seating by flashing their room keys. Through the concierge, they can also gain access to the House of Blues’ members-only Foundation lounge and restaurant.
Bin 36 - Owned separately from the hotel, this adjoining restaurant is the only one in the Marina City Complex that offers guests room-charge privileges. Part wine store, part restaurant, Bin 36 has two dining areas: the white-linen, upscale Cellar and the more casual Tavern. They converge at a huge, oval bar that draws a bustling after-work crowd. The Cellar features a five-course tasting menu of inventive American cuisine. The Tavern serves fancy pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches. Breakfast and lunch are also served daily. Bin 36 Coffee Bar - Open from early morn on, this small bar offers espresso drinks, pastries, and croissants. Kaz Bar - This dramatic lounge has seating areas framed by Moroccan-style tents. Live blues and rock music is free on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar opens in early afternoon, with light fare available from the Bin 36 kitchen.

| The hotel staff was professional and very customer oriented. The in-house bar had a delightful blues band and we really didn't have to stray from the hotel to find entertainment. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to see Chicago as a tourist or to any business that wants to host a conference!

| Buy the vacation pass for a set number of days and use the rapid transit to get around the city. The hotel is located in a central location and we found resturants and sight seeing within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff was attentive, the room was small but clean and would definitely stay there again.

| We were delighted with the decor and uniqueness of the hotel. I loved the lobby evening live entertainment and the Sunday gospel brunch. I would recommend this hotel for something a little bit out of the ordinary.

| There was nowhere to eat breakfast in the mornings, unless you wanted to pay for room service. There wasn't even a coffeepot in the room, although they did bring me one when I requested it. The staff was not overly friendly considering it was a "4 star" hotel. My teenager enjoyed the funky decor, it was very unique.

| We would definitely stay at HOB hotel again. Not only did they check us in early w/no question, but also put is in an incredible room on the top floors. Room was fun and very accomodating, clean, great view, everything in perfect working condition. We also never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator- a rare feat. Highly recommended. We will be back. Also, restaurant and bar are terrific.

| The staff is friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The room was good but the bathroom was great. Crunch gym is accessible from the elevator of the hotel. It does cost an additional $15.00 per day but is well worth it. A restaurant inside of the hotel, Bin 36, has the best breakfast.

| This is an excellent hotel with all facilities you would expect from a four star hotel less a pool. Fun and stylish decor in the midst of bustling Chicago downtown. The staff are super friendly and know their city. Use the concierge, they give really good advice on everything from beaches to restaurants.
