| I don't ask for much from a hotel, just a clean comfortable room at a reasonable rate. If the hotel is extremely nice I don't mind paying more. This hotel did not meet my expectations. When I arrived at 9:30pm the parking lot was not very well lit and I did not feel it was secure. When I entered my room the carpet seemed old and worn the ceiling tiles were water stained and the frames rusty. I think they were planning on some renovations, they had building materials stacked up in the pool area. Do not bother with the "Breakfast Buffet". Five items does not meet my definition of a buffet. I would have been half as disappointed had I paid half the price. This is not a hotel I would recommend for a family vacation.

| This was a nice, affordable hotel. Very quiet, nice staff. Kids loved the large pool and surrounding areas in the center dome section. The breakfast was adequate, but I found it a bit pricey--was expecting a continental breakfast instead. The hotel was clean and comfortable and was a nice place to stay in the SW ST.Louis area.

| We stayed at this hotel for the whole week and the nicest part was the pool area. The room itself could use some cleaning. There was mold growing on the wall in the bathroom. I killed a cockroach crawling on the end table one night that we were there. I also had to ask to have the sheets changed on the bed after stained sheets were put on by the maid service and were not changed.

| The toilet and sink area were together in one room. There was only one narrow shelf to put toiletries and most of the time they fell off of it. The door to the bath room stuck routinely and made so much noise that one was afraid to shut it at night for fear of waking others.

| Room was clean but needed work to ceiling. Pool area very clean. Hallways were not vacuumed and a little dirty. This hotel needs lots of remodeling and work done to inside and out. I would probably choose a different hotel next trip!

| Urine around base of toilets, not vacuumed daily, TV not working, rude front desk (male), refrig. did not work, microwave did not work, beds not made (sheets not on bed correctly with wrinkles). General lack of maintenance to hotel only the minimum done to room or hotel. If I could put lower than 1 for each of the above items I would. Better than sleeping next to a dumpster

| The second night we were in our room the smoke detector fell off the wall when a door was slammed. Surprise! There were no batteries in the smoke detector. Also, when we turned down the bed on our final morning to check for things that may have been left under the sheets, we found several blood stains at the bottom of the sheets. This left me less than impressed and we won't stay there again.

| The hotel looked dingy and ran down. Looks like it needs a complete renovation. The hotel had what they called a "Fun Dome" that had an indoor pool and video games and a pool table. This would be a nice touch if the video games had been more up to date and the pool water would have been warmer. The "Fun Dome" closed at 10:00 PM but there was no clock to let you know what time it was so as I had just put money in won of the ancient video games for my daughter and they come in and start shutting off the lights and telling every one they need to leave. Well that's understandable and I don't disagree a curfew is a curefew but we were in the middle of game and the rude manager would not even let us finish the game. it was just a bad experience overall. the beds were uncofortable and small compared to other days inns we have stayed in recently. and there was no continental breakfast like the last days inn we had stayed.
