| I was not really impressed with my trip to Kansas City, as a whole...it's not a vacation destination that I am willing to return to. This Days Inn was more like a truck driver's hotel, not somewhere that an individual or a family would stay at for a vacation. Even though the facility, in and of itself, was fairly neat; it was located in Kansas. Transportation to Kansas City International Airport, Royals Stadium, and downtown Kansas City was obscenely expensive. After I calculated my vacation expenditures, I was quite bothered to find out that I spent almost $400 on local ground transportation alone. After I spent so much on this line item, I found that I had very little time and cash to really go out and enjoy Kansas City and its environment. If you're going to spend your hard earned vacation time so far away from the center of life, you would best get your hands on a rental car.
