| The best part about this hotel is that it is centrally located in DC and is walkable distance to most of the attractions(downtown, duPont Circle, etc). That saves you time and money hunting for a parking place. The prices are reasonable considering that it is Mariott hotel in heart of the capital city. And the hotel staff is very accomodating. They provided us with refigrator and a microwave on request without additional charges. The view from the seventh and the eight floor is really good. The only drawback that I can think of is that the rooms are relatively smaller in size - not much space to move about.

| We were in Washington DC just after New Years, and stayed at this hotel. Nice place but the only thing was that they were renovating their restaurant hence we could not get any meals or drinks from there. Otherwise the room was very large, clean and spacious, nice location not far from Dupont Circle. The staff were also quite helpful.

| The staff I had contact with was very pleasant-especially the night crew. I had no complaints with the night crew they were very nice, curtious and customer service oriented. I would give them a two thumbs up. A relatively quiet hotel, with the exception of a noisey couple in the other rooms above us and on the side. outside traffic noise was a minimum. they could do something about the ice makers... though it wasn't a problem in the room while sleeping. hotel food is fair/good (only had breakfast). hotel was relativley close to the entrance of the subway, roughly 4-5 city blocks away. close to good restaurants. about 4-5 blocks from the shuttle bus that tours the city.

| I have never been received with such hospitality as I was checking-in to this hotel. The front desk and the rest of the staff were most helpful during all my stay. There is a nice breakfast restaurant ($12.00). If you have a car, you must valet park ($22.00 a night). The rooms are clean and the lobby is very classy.

| Loved the hotel and it's location, but man they needed to turn down the heat. My finacee and I had the window open during 30 degree temps, because the heat in the hotel was just too much to handle.
