This all-suite hotel in downtown Medford sits beside the Mystic River and has an indoor pool and a fitness center. Daily buffet breakfasts are included in the room rate. The hotel provides complimentary local area transportation and garage parking. During summer months, the Old Town Trolley will transport guests to Boston, and a local shuttle that stops at the hotel will take guests to the Orange Line subway, which continues into the downtown core. A manager's reception is available every Wednesday evening 5:30 PM–7:00 PM featuring complimentary beer, sodas, and hot appetizers.

The hotel has an indoor pool and a fitness center equipped with cardiovascular equipment and rowing machines. Bicycling is extremely popular in Boston and there are several well-developed, safe trails linking area parks. Bicycling, walking, and jogging on the paths along the Charles River are also popular pastimes. Golf courses open to the public include Braintree Municipal Golf Course and Sandy Burr Country Club, both approximately 19.5 miles from the hotel. Area golf courses get heavy use in the summer months, so booking tee times in advance is recommended. | This hotel is basic - we had wished we knew the pool was under repair. Fine for our family but a bit dated and smokey smelling.

| The price it cost to stay at the AmeriSuites in Medford was not worth it. The beds were uncomfortable and the room smelled musty. Also, the printed directions that are available to help patrons find there way around the immediate area had obscene grammatical errors. Some of which included the following: Krispy Kremes was spelled Crispy Creams, the word where was spelled were, among other things. My advice, the AmeriSuites staff and corporation should have enough pride in their company to proof read what they give to their customers. I wouldnt stay there again.

| My boyfriend and I were looking for a cheaper nice place to stay in Boston for the weekend. We found good rates on Expedia and decided to book. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The morning buffet breakfast was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a shuttle to the T stop which ended at 9:00pm while we were there, however the hotel gave us a cab company # to contact for rides upon on return after 9:00pm. Would definitely stay here again. Would recommend to others.

| Comfortable desk to work on with wireless broadband access sure made working in my room a pleasure. Nice bed and color TV that swiveled between the work area and the bed.

| My room was spacious and comfortable but I could have done without the 2" long dead bug on the bathroom floor. Hotel service was uneven--several times my calls to the front desk went unanswered. The shuttle to the T station was convenient but I had to wait one hour for them to pick me up from the station--front desk could have told me about the wait rather than say "I'll send him right out to get you." Wonderful breakfast buffet, super maid service, and internet access from my room was a definite plus.
